Army Camouflage Single Decal M40 Combat Helmet with Wire
Dark rough grey green finish is worn with some light cream colored sprayed finish for camouflage. Decal is 85% worn off. Has rusty wire running around center of rim from front to back and over sides. Liner looks made of pig skin, still it is sound and has good color, chin strap is about gone, still has 80% of the long side, buckle side gone. Shell is marked SE62, cannot make out the date on the metal band but marked size 55. Overall shows a lot of field wear with some age, still it is a very nice looking field grade combat helmet, it saw some action.
