Combat Helmet
Was double decal, has been brushed painted with dark grey green paint around the Army decal and over the National color decal. The Army decal is about 70 to 75%, the national color decal is showing through the worn 2nd finish. The 2nd finish is worn and is about 75% with the light green finish showing in the worn spots, has nice worn combat finish, also was painted on inside rim. Leather liner is dark but sound with early chinstrap with alumi buckle, long part is a little short, but cut wartime. Shell is marked EF62, alumi band is dated 1939 and marked size 55. Overall nice looking combat helmet with field wear and age. Exc $875.00
