M38 Field Cap
Made of a grey green wip cord wool with silver alumi. piping around top with same around front scallop. Eagle is the silver flat wire bevo weave type on dark green, machine sewn at top and hand stitched around sides, cockade is the silver flat wire pattern, the light grey blue soutache is machine sewn. Inside is lined with the grey cotton material and is marked size 57 only. Overall the cap is nice quality, show field wear with age, has some moth damage to back, near back seam with some other not to noticeable nips. Still this is a very nice looking cap with a rare color soutache.
